Going to Boston next week- need advice for restaurants etc.

hello- i will be in boston next week for two nights, any suggestions for good restaurants/bars?? Looking for great food and atmosphere, walking distance from Copely Plaza- any suggestions would be appreicated- also any suggestions for nightlife, nice bar or lounge to hang out and have a few drinks???? thanks!

You might want to try the Summer Shack at King%26#39;s bowling alley. The food is good, and it%26#39;s a very hip and trendy place to be right now. The King%26#39;s bowling alley also has a restaurant, that I%26#39;ve heard good things about, but I%26#39;ve never been there myself. It%26#39;s a fun place to hang out and have a cocktail, though.

Another good place with nice atmosphere and people watching is Sonsie, on upper Newbury St., near Mass. Ave. Another place I like in that area is the Cottonwood Cafe on Berkeley St.

If you walk in the other direction, towards the South End, there%26#39;s lots of great food, too. Sibiling Rivalry on Tremont St. is a very trendy restauant now, that has great food.

For bars, Clery%26#39;s bar on Dartmouth St. at Columbus is usually packed with people and is a good place to hang out and have a drink. On Boylston St., the Pour House is also a happening place.

I second the Summer Shack. I had a great lobster roll there. It%26#39;s easy to find---right next to the Pru and the Sheraton.

Thanks so much for the info, we are really looking forward to this trip, we have never been to Boston, we want to make the most of it....

Oh, I love the Oak Room at the Fairmont Copley. It is totally deluxe. Enjoy. Boston is great fun.
