Zipping up to Boston next week with the boys 8 and 10 and am tossing up between Nine Zero (near Boston Common) and Boston Harbour View (views). We%26#39;ve never been to Boston before and am wondering whether both places are also handy to stores and kid friendly eating places and whether there is any park-like hanging out boy area near BHV for the kids when they need to burn off some energy.
Thx :)
which hotel please
Nine Zero would probably better. The Common is a stone%26#39;s throw from the front door, as well as downtown stores and other stuff. I think there%26#39;s a small area on the Common that has a slide and jungle gym for climbing.
The Boston Harbor Hotel is a lovely property, but I think it caters to an older crowd and I have rarely ever seen children around.

I actually think either one would work fine. The Nine Zero is across from Boston Common, and near Downtown Crossing and Quincy Market, which is good.
But, the Boston Harbor Hotel is at Rowe%26#39;s Wharf, where you can pick up harbor cruise and whale watch boats, and you are only a block from the New England Aquarium and a couple of blocks from Quincy Market. There%26#39;s also a lovely path called the Harborwalk, which you can walk along the Harbor and look at the scenery.
