Hi Naomi, Sorry, I didn%26#39;t keep your personal e-mail address but you may still have mine. I had a thought while we were dining at the Cape Sea Grill in Harwichport earlier this month. We will be on the Cape again in Nov. and we%26#39;d be able to drive past the new place you are renting for next summer if we had the location. I know you like to have details. So, if you let me know what you are wondering about or just give me a list of questions that you may have then I%26#39;ll do my best to check it out for you. As you know that town is just one over from where we are and we go over there once in a while anyway. Well, let me know if I can be of help to you.

Hi Eve, thanks so much for thinking of me. You%26#39;re very kind to offer to drive by the house,etc....I really DO appreciate the gesture.

In the end, we decided not to go with the house in Harwich. That was a cape and my Dad (joining us again next summer) prefers a ranch.

So, we ended up with a home that we actually looked into before (I had spoken with the homeowner on the phone,etc).

It%26#39;s an 8 room (3BR) ranch in Yarmouthport with central air. There%26#39;s a large sunny family room with sliders that lead to a deck with grill,etc.

It%26#39;s just over a mile away from where we stayed last month, nice residential area.

We already booked the week, August 19-26 and sent in our deposit.

For us, this will be %26#39;late%26#39; to go away, we usually go in July or early-Aug.

Oh well, something different.

We have the address so when my husband and I come up to the area for our %26#39;romantic getaway%26#39; Memorial Day weekend, we%26#39;ll drive by.....

Every summer that week ends up being the best one..except that this year the fabulous weather continued at least two more weeks that we know of. The only tough thing about that week is waiting for it. Like you however we go to the Cape for awhile starting Mem. Day weekend. Glad you got something that you know about. I%26#39;d hate you to be one of those getting %26#39;stuck%26#39; with a surprise.

The best part is that this house is $400 less than the one we rented last month :-)

Why is that? Location?

Actually I thought that some landlords have sympathy coupons for the itinerant, destitute and self-serving. Where does the line start?
