smallest pub in boston

The smallest pub in Boston is a place on Province Street called The Littlest Pub. There are six seats at the bar and virtually no room to stand otherwise. It%26#39;s carved into the underneath of Marliave%26#39;s, an Italian restaurant just above. Province Street is located between Bromfield and School Streets in downtown, and is a cut-through.

PS: Sam LaGrassa%26#39;s right across the street makes THE BEST REUBEN IN BOSTON!!

I believe The Littlest Pub is closing down soon if it hasn%26#39;t already.

whats reuben????

and thanx for the info everybody

A Reuben is a sandwich with (generally) dark rye bread, corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese and often thousand island dressing. It is served grilled. While this is the usual recipe, some places vary it.

Sad but true about The Littlest Bar :-( I was literally never able to get in there, and now it%26#39;s too late.

It was over a mile away from the Sheraton, though. So the place being referred to might be the small Irish tavern in the basement of the Lenox Hotel, on Boylston St between Exeter and Dartmouth next to the library.

I think Spensworld is referring to either City Bar or Solas. Solas is more of an Irish Pub that is attached to the Lenox. Solas is right off Boylston near the Prudential Center, I think it%26#39;s very easy to find.

I thought he was referring to the Littlest Pub, too. I had no idea it was gone!

Duffy, I know you%26#39;re coming from Scotland, but if you%26#39;re interested in a taste of home-style eats and the like when you%26#39;re in town, be sure to check out a pub in Brookline Village called ';Matt Murphy%26#39;s';. It%26#39;s off the D-line of the T (train), cozy, and serves up delicious food. Though techinically an ';Irish Pub,'; The owner happens to be a Scot.

Enjoy your trip!!

the bar closes in december they are building condos im just back from there HIC

There is a little bar just off Mass Ave on Haviland St. (near Berklee School of Music). I can%26#39;t remember the name...
