Hotel recommendation??

I will be without a car in Boston for a couple of days. Can anyone recommend a 2-3 star hotel that would have transfers to the airport?

I also need to drop a rental car off at the airport in Providence, RI, and then get to Boston---any suggestions there?

Thanks for any suggestions you might have. I have never been on the east coast before!

Hotel recommendation??

Hello Answersanyone?!

I prefer the Marriott%26#39;s when I travel, they%26#39;re clean; reliable and if you want a 2-3 star hotel? They%26#39;re it. The one I would suggest for you where you%26#39;ll be in Boston for a few days is the Marriott-Boston Copley Place; they have a 1 800# that you can call and get it straightened out. 1 800 509-1972.

They have the best shops at the ';Pru';

which is within your hotel complex. You%26#39;ll really like it here. The restaurants are all very good and Newbury St. is within walking distance to your hotel with all kinds of shops restaurants and things going on. It%26#39;s a really good location to be in Boston without a car. I wouldn%26#39;t want to be any where else in the City BUT here!

You could take the commuter rail in from Providence to Boston if you want? After you drop off your car at the airport you could either get a shuttle at the airport that goes to the commuter rail in Providence, which I%26#39;m sure they%26#39;ll have or hop in a taxi? That part you%26#39;ll have to find out at the airport.

Check out www.mbta.com

Click on Schedules, Maps %26amp; Stations

Then click on Commuter Rail

you%26#39;ll want the ';Attleboro/Stoughton'; Week Day OR WeekEnd Schedule it depends when you plan on being here; you%26#39;ll see Providence, RI is the last stop on the schedule.

I don%26#39;t know any other way of getting in to Boston without a car, unless you wanted to check out the bus service from Providence, you%26#39;d still have to get from the airport to the bus terminal, which is okay just hop in a taxi and make sure it%26#39;s got a meter in it.

Or then again you could see if they run a shuttle to the bus terminals?

I thought may be the Limoliner but they only do the Boston/Framingham to New York run

and back so that%26#39;s out of the question. There fare is $76 now, after October 15th it%26#39;s going up to $79. I thought it might;

with the gas situation the way it is.

Just make sure if you do book the Marriott-Boston at Copley Place that you specifically say the name of your hotel to them; because there%26#39;s a Marriott-Long Wharf that you don%26#39;t want them to get confused with while they%26#39;re driving you to the hotel.

All I can tell you is either check the commuter rail from Providence, RI to get you in to Boston at www.mbta.com or may be you could get a hold of a good limousine service that would bring you right in to Boston? If

you didn%26#39;t want to bother with the trains, taxis or you could get a schedule of the buses? www.peterpanbus.com and get in to Boston that way?

Good luck! It%26#39;ll all fall in to play and before you know it you%26#39;ll be here!
