I know that museum admissions add up, but the Science Museum always has a new exibit or special showing in the Omni Theater, there is a computer museum if they are interested in gadgets, and the USS Constitution gives tours of the ship. The Duck Tours might be fun for them, and a trip to the top of the Prudential for a view. Have a wonderful trip!

Well there are a number of things to do with kids. On the Freedom Trail they would probably be interested in some of the historic stuff, but be especially fond of the U.S.S Constitution museum which is at the end of the trail. There are a couple of museums they would like. The Museum of Science has a Star Wars exhibit in October, and they would love the regular exhibits as well. The Children%26#39;s Museum might also be an option, though I admit to never having gone there, but I LOVE the Museum of Science. Some other stuff you might not think of would be TOMB near Fenway Park which is this fun adventure where you solve puzzles set in ';an ancient egyptian tomb'; I went with a group of friends and we had a really silly time. Also, if they like sports a Fenway Park Tour might be fun, though I%26#39;ve heard mixed reviews. The New England Aquarium is also a must-do. The Sea Lion show is great and there is an IMAX theater right beside it. Oh and you may also want to get a value pass to save money. The Go Boston Card would probably be a good option for you because child%26#39;s card is 25 dollars and I think it goes up to age 12. There is also a sale right now too, it seems. Have a great time!
My kids have always liked to visit the Common and Public Garden. We also take them to the Constitution or Faneuil Hall via the North End. They stop at Mike%26#39;s Pastry and get a cookie and they are good to go. There used to be a lunch cruise on Boston Harbor (office next to Aquarium) where it was $1 for 45 minute cruise, but you%26#39;ll need to check and see if they still do that. If not, you can walk along the Harbor. If you have a car you can go over to South Boston and walk around Castle Island, which is an old fort right across from the airport. The planes come in and go out right over your head. They have a little takeout place with ice cream, burgers, hot dogs.
There%26#39;s a movie theater now on Tremont Street in Boston that a lot of my friends are bringing there families to now. Go during the day NOT at night; the tickets are cheaper! If it%26#39;s rainy when you%26#39;re in Boston and you don%26#39;t know what to do? Bring them to this theater, your children will really like this theater it reminds me of Disney World in this complex! Try to think of it while you%26#39;re in Boston but go early in the afternoon. My nieces/nephews LOVE this theater. We don%26#39;t have one like it in NH., so it%26#39;s my treat for them when we go in to Boston and there%26#39;s something good showing there! Here%26#39;s the info on it....
I believe it%26#39;s only $6 during the day for tickets....Have fun!
