My wife and I are planning a holiday in June next year of 5 nights in Boston. We shall be accompanied by our new baby who will be 9 months old n the date of travel.
The hotel we had booked was the Copley Square Hotel but having read reviews on this site we are having second thoughts. Our travel agent has offered us the Sheraton Boston Hotel or The Lenox as alternatives ( the later costing an additional 拢100 for the duration ).
I%26#39;m tempted to go with the Sheraton as a ';safe bet';, but would welcome and advice and guidance. It will be our first trip to Boston !
Where to stay with a 9 month old ?The Copley Square Hotel and The Lenox are sister properties - the Lenox being the nicer of the two. I think both of them would give you good service, although I have worked with the Lenox on functions and other things and they are quite responsive. Not having children of my own I am not sure what you would need. I would choose the Lenox over the Sheraton if you%26#39;re going to pony up an extra 100 pounds.
Where to stay with a 9 month old ?I think either hotel should be ok for you. However, the Sheraton is a HUGE convention hotel, and the Lenox is smaller and a bit more elegant. It really depends on what you are looking for in atmosphere.
We recomend staying at the Parker House
They are kid friendly and offer free cookies and milk to families with delivered to the room via room service
The location is great as you can walk to all the historic sites and even the New England Aquarium is only 4 blocks walk.
Very safe neighborhood and the hotel feels like a giant B %26amp; B
Its also where the Boston Creme Pie was invented and Parker House Roll
Great Breakfast in the restaurant
Your sure to have a great trip to Boston with a genuine Boston experience.
You can also walk to CHildren%26#39;s Museum and the Swan Boats are 3 blocks away in the Public Garden with the ducks as the kids love this too.
