You may want to check out Maggiano%26#39;s Little Italy - it%26#39;s right across the street. It%26#39;s part of a chain which outlets in a number of cities but the location is great as is the food.
When will you be at the Rad? We are going the 8th - 12th of this mo. Hope it%26#39;s nice. Let us know if you go before we do and vice versa. Thanks Lisa
I second the Maggiano%26#39;s recommendation. It%26#39;s famous for it%26#39;s ';family style'; service... a lot of a la carte items ordered for the whole table.
Another alternative, on Columbus Ave, a few blocks away in the South End, is Anchovie%26#39;s. This is a favorite with locals, and offers a variety of things from pizza and calzones to lasagna, chicken or eggplant parmagian, and nightly specials. The garlic butter mussel appetizer is my favorite! It%26#39;s a small friendly place with a bar and about 15 tables. Personally, I think it ';out-Cheers'; the ';real'; Cheers... even if everybody doesn%26#39;t know your name. Entrees range from under $8 to about $12.
Hello Karen4120
YES by all means either Davio%26#39;s or Maggiano%26#39;s Little Italy. They%26#39;re both unbelievably good, we love both of them and you won%26#39;t go wrong in either place! I think I%26#39;d have a hard time choosing which one to go to myself, they%26#39;re very close to your hotel, so take your pick!
Lots of us staying at the Radisson this month then!! We%26#39;ll be there from 8th to 11th October - am really looking forward to our visit. :)
I ';fourth'; the Maggiano%26#39;s recommendation. While it%26#39;s a chain restaurant, the food is very tasty and I%26#39;ve always had good meals there.
Make sure to try their stuffed mushrooms, and/or the Maggianos salad. Also, the Italian pot roast is excellent.
I guess EVERYBODY loves Maggiano%26#39;s stufed mushrooms! I%26#39;ve been there several times, and it%26#39;s one item that always gets raves.
