Lechmere T stop open?

Any locals know if this stop is open as its close to my hotel, read somewhere it may be closed

No, it%26#39;s not open, you have to take a bus from the Lechmere stop to either North Station or Government Center.

Do you know when its due to re-open, been on the official site and cant see any info on this, also wondering if the buses run until the same time as the T

It%26#39;s been closed for a long, long time and I don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s scheduled to be reopened anytime in the near future.

And yes, it runs along the same route as the T. The Lechmere and Science Park stops are the only stops that are closed and the buses run frequently, so it really doesn%26#39;t make much of a difference in time or convenience.

According to the ';Official'; reports, Lechmere is due to reopen ';sometime in the Fall';.

Originally, it was supposed to reopen around June of this year, so take that with a grain of salt. They are rebuilding the tracks in the area, and taking down some above-ground tracks and putting them underground. It%26#39;s been over a two-year project.

They do run a pretty efficient shuttle bus service from Lechmere to Government Center, so all is not lost. Maybe by the time you arrive here, it will have opened...but don%26#39;t hold your breath :)
