I will be driving into Boston right at the time of a Bruins game. Will there be parking there at the Garden/Fleet Center available right at game time? Or would it be better to go straight to my hotel, check in, and cab/walk to the game?
Thanks!
Parking at Fleet Center (Garden)
Hello LSA,
The TD Bank North Garden has parking available underneath the building. Here%26#39;s information below regarding the facility....
I parked underneath the Gardens a few times and we thought it was just so much easier! If your hotel is on the other side of town and you want to check in later and you want to take your car and have it with you by all means, it%26#39;s a clean, well lit, safe garage run by the MBTA, here%26#39;s information on it.

TAKEN FROM THE WEBSITE....
The TD Banknorth Garden doesn%26#39;t own or operate any local parking facilities. However, the MBTA Garage, a 1,150 space parking garage, is located directly underneath the TD Banknorth Garden and is accessible via Nashua Street. Elevators located in the parking garage will bring you directly to the main concourse in North Station. For more information call (617) 222-3042.
Parking at Fleet Center (Garden)
Depends entirely on where your hotel is, and when you%26#39;re arriving in town, who you%26#39;re with, and what you want to do before and after the game (to which I assume you%26#39;re going?). Normally, even I and my friends -- who tend to drive everywhere at all inconvenience -- would take the ';T'; to the Garden for a game. Though, hear it that parking is plentiful -- these days I gather-- if you feel like getting in and out at the expense of at least a half hour traffic-fest, each end (on a good day), and feeling suburban in the city (roll up those windows, lock those doors), that could be spent wandering around the exuberant and relatively safe ya-hoo of sports psych, and copious local popular restaurants and bars in the immediate area.
Get a good map, and guage how far as the crow flies (walks) you are to the Garden. If it%26#39;s a mile or less, walk/';T.'; If the ';T';%26#39;s near your hotel, and you%26#39;re in the mood, consider ';T';-ing it. This is way different than So.Cal. The Garden%26#39;s right in the safe (cool, normal place to hang out) part of city.
