Ghost Hunt Tour

6 Adults family members (from Ohio) coming to Salem 10/27/05. There are so many tours to choose from, we were overwhelmed at what to choose. We are considering the Vampire %26amp; Ghost Hunt Tour with Mollie Stewart (paranormal investigator) which appears to be the real thing. Is it????

Hi! I just got back from Salem today and took that tour (on the date you posted your message!)

It was a good tour, tour guide lots of fun and knowledgeable. We took our camera on the tour and took a lot of pictures but have not developed them yet - can%26#39;t tell you if we caught anything on tape. However, they take you to areas known for hauntings and talk about their research and give advice on how and where to take pictures where they have had success. Overall it is a tour - not really a ghosthunt, but I thought it was really good.

skip the witches house; waste of money. house of seven gables is a good take-in. take the trolley; takes you by all those places and you can choose what looks good. are you staying in town? good place to eat is red%26#39;s sandwich shop. breakfast served all day; good home cooking. there is a new soup place on the main drag that is excellent as well for lunch.

I was there last week and the best tours we took were The Terror Trail, which was by far one of the best guides I%26#39;ve ever had (I%26#39;ve done a lot of these tours in various states). This tour is focused more on the history and stories of the town rather than taking pictures of orbs. I also recommend the Cemetary Tour put on by Hautend Footsteps. That one is a day time tour and it talks about the architecture of the graves etc - it was very interesting. I%26#39;ve taken the Vampire and Ghost Hunt Tour both this and last year. Last year was better simply because the guide was better. This year%26#39;s guide was not very good as he focused alot on telling us where to take pictures to get good orbs, rather than the stories themselves. I do not believe Mollie Stewart actually does the tours.

I know it%26#39;s too late for your trip, but We loved the vampire and ghost tour. When we downloaded our pictures we were shocked to see a very real

looking face,not an orb, not a light, but a face

in the window of one of the places they brought us on the tour. I%26#39;m sure this doesn%26#39;t happen to everyone, but if you are into that kind of thing

I think this is the tour for you!(it can freak you out, though!)

We had been to Salem before and been on another ghost tour, which was fine, but this tour was really differnet and a lot of fun. Let%26#39;s see if I can ever sleep alone again, though!!!
