Breakfast in Boston?

Hello!

We are getting into Logan @ 5:30AM on a weekday and would like to have a good, friendly, relaxing meal somewhere between Logan and Woburn after being on a plane for 11 hours.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

Breakfast in Boston?

Hello D M and A,

If it%26#39;s that early in the morning, I think I would definitely want to just get right off that plane myself. As a suggestion, you could head right for the Hilton Hotel at the airport for breakfast. You can walk over there (with the following directions) or drive there if you get your car first at the airport, whatever you have to do first.

There%26#39;s 2 places for breakfast at the Hilton. Either the Berkshires Restaurant that serves a full breakfast or the Cafe Presto which is a coffee bar. I%26#39;ve gone to the Berkshires a few times for differnt business breakfast meetings and it%26#39;s perfect for starting off here this way on a trip. You can relax, enjoy breakfast, it%26#39;ll be quiet at that hour of the morning and then head out to your destination.

I remember when I had to go to California a few years ago for a wedding and I flew in to San Francisco really early and this is exactly what I ended up managing at the airport. Then I drove to Napa for the rest of the little ';jaunt'; out there and of course, don%26#39;t forget you have to really relax and calm yourself down so you can get out on that highway and start driving like the rest of them!

You can either have breakfast at the airport or if you want to explore you can go to Charlestown, MA only 2 minutes from Logan through the Sumner Tunnel and go to ';Christy%26#39;s Place';, it%26#39;s a really small but just a cute little place with excellent breakfasts located at 283 Main St., 617 242-9795, I don%26#39;t know how many you%26#39;re traveling with, but if you want to call them first to let them know and they%26#39;ll be able to have a table ready for you. You might want to call them to make sure they%26#39;re open that early any way, but I would think they would be!

There%26#39;s a few others open that early, but I think if I were you? The closer to the airport you are after flying that long? The better off you%26#39;ll feel if you get right to a place to sit down and unwind! This way you can enjoy the rest of the trip without worrying about how to even get to a place for breakfast, this way you%26#39;re right there.

Here%26#39;s directions for walking within the airport to get to the Hilton Hotel in case you do decide to do this....

Walking From the Airport Terminals: Terminals A %26amp; E - From Terminal A %26amp; E follow signs for %26#39;%26#39;bridge to central parking%26#39;%26#39; and %26#39;%26#39;pedestrian bridge.%26#39;%26#39; Take this walkway until the parking elevators. Proceed to second floor and into the Hilton Hotel via skybridge. Terminals B, C %26amp; D - Follow the directions from A %26amp; E or from the Airport by Hilton Shuttle. From the Airport by Hilton Shuttle: For Directions go to www.hilton.com and Logan Airport location under Directions and Information view all directions, map and airport information

Also check www.massport.com for different updates for traffic conditions and construction sites along the way. During the week you might want to take your time heading out after breakfast any way with the traffic. Although you%26#39;re okay heading the opposite way from all the downtown Boston office workers! The traffic at least moves right along now, it%26#39;s not as bad as it used to be---honest! Especially with the new bridges and tunnels; at least the cars move now!

Have a really good time!
