Advice on using the T

I will be arriving into Boston Logan Airport on saturday around 2.30pm (terminal E) I am then staying at the Hostel on 12 Hemenway Street. I have been studying a map of the T from mbta.com could someone please tell me if i have got this correct..

I can get the free Massport shuttle bus to the %26#39;airport%26#39; train station, get on the blue line there for $1.25 then change over onto the green line at Government Ctr then get off at Hynes Convention Centre and its about a block away...

Please tell my guess is close...ive been worried all week about finding my way there!

Thanks in advance

Advice on using the T

Say hi to Erica for me who works the front desk some nights. SHe%26#39;s really something else and a good friend of mine. Yes, there is a free shuttle that picks up in front of every terminal. You get on the bus and it takes you to the Blue Line where you take it ';INBOUND'; You get off the train at Goverment Center, go up a flight of stairs and you%26#39;re at the Green Line where you get on a B, C, or D train (DO NOT TAKE THE E TRAIN. IT ends at COPLEY the stop before HYNES) and get off at Hynes Convention Center. You want to take the main exist to MASS AVE and turn left. Then you walk about a block and a half and you%26#39;re there. Don%26#39;t worry you will be fine!

Advice on using the T

You%26#39;re heading in the right direction..

Just as an FYI: the T is going through a changeover with its fare collection methods and turnstiles. Instead of a token you will need to purchase a paper ticket for the trip into town. The machines are completely automated and take either cash or a credit/debit card.

Walk over to the turnstile, insert the paper ticket into the machine as directed by the arrow, and it will read it and feed it up for you to grab. Grab the ticket, and the paddle-like wings will open to allow you to go through and then will whoosh closed after you. This new system is only in place on the Blue Line. The rest of the system uses tokens. There are T personnnel on hand to assist. It%26#39;s really a no-brainer. It%26#39;s a lot like the paper carnet system the Metro uses in Paris - and a lot of other systems as well.

thanks alot for your help i really appreciate it

Please don%26#39;t worry about using the T. I%26#39;m hopeless with these things, totally directionally disfunctional and I%26#39;ve found the T easy to use. The easiest system I%26#39;ve found on any of my travels.
