5 hours to kill between flights

Hi,%26#39;

My husband and I have 5 hours between flights out of Logan and are looking for suggestions for some quick shopping and lunch in the area.

Thanks

Will the airline hold your luggage for you? If so, you could take the Massport shuttle (it%26#39;s free) to the Airport ';T'; station and take the Blue Line 2 stops to the Aquarium station ($1.25/one way). Once there, you are a very short walk to the Fanueil Hall Marketplace area. There is lots of shopping and plenty of places to eat. You could try Durgin Park, the oldest continually operating restaurant in the US. If you are there for peak mealtime hours, there is often a line. The food is reasonably priced.

To add to SueFee%26#39;s suggestion... if the weather is nice, you could take the water shuttle from the airport, which will land you within a short walk of Quincy Marketplace...

Thanks for the suggestions. All sounds great. Will check them out!

';Five hours'; ';between flights'; -- with deplaning, return security, etc., even if your luggage is being transferred -- can quickly turn onto 3 hours. So, for a quick Boston experience, you might cab it to the nearest Boston neighborhood to the airport, East Boston, where I hear Santori%26#39;s(?) Sartorri%26#39;s(?) Restaurant (spelling? someone help me...) is still getting good reviews. From there, time willing, it%26#39;s a cab-hop to Charlestown (another nearby neiborhood) where there%26#39;s a waterfront ';tourist'; area -- during the daytime -- with maritime-oriented shops and historic sites.
