Where Do I Go!?

I realize that is a little late, but I can%26#39;t find a hotel anywhere in Salem for Saturday the 15th. Does any one have suggestions?

Where Do I Go!?

Hello Nicolell17

Well it%26#39;s not IN Salem per say but this place online looks absolutely great for what you%26#39;re going to have to do while you%26#39;re staying here....the Innkeepers will tell you exactly how to get to the ';commuter'; rail and Salem%26#39;s only one stop away which will make it perfect for you. Just go online and make sure you print up the schedule to get the train back to Beverly to the place that%26#39;s all.

www.mbta.com and click on ';commuter rail'; and then ';schedule'; and it%26#39;ll show you the schedule listings as either week or weekend. Make sure you get the correct name of the train station right near where this place is. There%26#39;s a few Beverly stops and you just want to make sure you%26#39;re getting off at the right place to get to where your staying. This place hopefully will have rooms, if it doesn%26#39;t then you might have to get in touch with the Chamber of Commerce in either Salem OR Beverly.

Try this place and see if they have anything available.....

The place looks really cute and the directions are right online, it%26#39;s a really good website they have and the rates look very reasonable.

Good luck!

When you go online to check the schedule and the commuter rail line you%26#39;d take it%26#39;s the Newburyport/Rockport OUTBOUND to Salem that you%26#39;d take when you leave Beverly and INBOUND to North Station/BOSTON train you%26#39;d take when you leave Salem. I%26#39;m pretty sure you%26#39;re only 1 possibly 2 stops away from Salem if you get reservations in this Inn.

Good luck!

nicole - are you coming by car or by public transportation? If by car - there are several larger hotels and motels in Danvers and Peabody, both cities are nearby and an easy drive. There are also some very nice places (hotels and B%26amp;Bs up and down the coast - in Marblehead, Beverly, Gloucester, etc.)

One place to start would be the Salem MA Chamber of Commerce. They are are pretty good and might know where there are vacancies.

Parking in Salem can be a tremendous challenge this month - and coming in by train or bus is sometimes a better option. Check the MBTA web site for the commuter train route map - and look for accomodations in those towns.

Good luck and enjoy!
