Typhoon in Boston

Typhoon lives up to its name, with cuisine representing a veritable whirlwind of flavors and cultures. With dishes from Thailand, China, Vietnam and Japan, the menu features something for everyone. The room is simple, with Japanese- style paintings and paper screens. Vietnamese dishes include beef pho (noodle soup), fresh spring rolls and steamed vermicelli with grilled shrimp. Chinese dishes include steamed sea bass, Peking duck and sweet and sour chicken. Japanese food takes the form of sushi, available in many combinations and varieties. Thai specialties include spicy shrimp soup and pad Thai. Prices at Typhoon are also a whirlwind, ranging anywhere from $5 for a bowl of Vietnamese pho to $25 for Cantonese steamed bass.

I love Typhoon! The room is always quiet (at least when I%26#39;m there), the prices reasonable and I haven%26#39;t had a bad selection yet. Even the background music is interesting...wacky mix of standards and jazz, thrown in with French cafe accordion music.
