re 5 night trip to boston
The Wyndham Boston is located on Broad Street in the heart of the financial district. Not a big problem, as the area has sprouted a number of restaurants and pubs which are open into the evening hours. You are a 10 minute walk to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall and there are lots of shops and restaurants there.
Unfortunately, Copley is across town - not a big deal if you%26#39;re a person who likes to walk. Downtown Crossing, where a couple of the larger department stores are, is probably a 15 minute walk from your hotel. With at least 5 days in town you%26#39;ll have no problem seeing everything. The main area of the city is quite compact, so you can easily walk from the Wyndham to Copley and Newbury Streets in under an hour - and that%26#39;s at a leisurely pace!
The hotel itself is what I would call a business class property - neat, clean, orderly, and quiet. The rooms are comfortable if a little spartan, but set up for work if need be. The area is safe; haven%26#39;t heard anything untoward happening there. It does get quiet after 5:00, but that%26#39;s not a bad thing.

Many thanks for your information
Just another quick question
What is the best way of getting from Boston Logan Airport to the Wyndham Boston and how much does it usually cost?
many thanks
Hi AC,
There are two popular ways to get from Logan to your hotel. One is a Taxi. It%26#39;s quick, convenient and door-to-door service. It should cost you about $20 plus a 15% tip.
If you want to take the T, it will cost you $1.25 each way, but it involves some walking, because the Wyndham isn%26#39;t directly near any T stations. Your best bet is to take the Silver Line directly from your arrival terminal (it stops outside all the terminals, at the Ground Transportation location), to South Station. From South Station, you are about a 5-10 minute walk to the Wyndham. If you aren%26#39;t carrying a lot of luggage, it might be OK for you. It%26#39;s not hilly or anything like that.
If I were you, unless I was on a very strict budget and couldn%26#39;t afford it, I%26#39;d take a taxi.
Correction---the Wyndham is very close to the Aquarium ';T'; station. We%26#39;ve stayed at the Wyndham twice now and used the ';T'; to get there from Logan both times. It%26#39;s an easy walk from the station with luggage in tow. BTW, we really like the Wyndham!
Absolutely SueFee it%26#39;s great!
Hello AC2507,
I worked in the Financial District for 25 years and this Wyndham is very reputable, clean, convenient and very nice. The corporation I worked for highly recommends this hotel all the time for clients; you won%26#39;t go wrong here.
As far as it being safe in this area, you%26#39;ll be just fine during the day and into the early evening, especially during the week. It gets pretty rowdy on weekends late at night from what I%26#39;m hearing from everyone with the bars and clubs in this area now. We trust you won%26#39;t be out that late!
You can very easily take the ';Blue Line train'; Inbound right from the Airport station, the next stop is Maverick then you%26#39;re stop will be Aquarium Station, whatever you choose to do, they have taxis right at the airport it%26#39;s your call.
You have an Il Pannino%26#39;s Italian restaurant right around the corner from your hotel that is JUST out of this world, we used to go there all the time! You have quite a lot of lunch spots along Broad St., you are a stones throw from Quincy Market, you%26#39;ll see Bertucci%26#39;s Pizza and all the restaurants and bars right over on State St, you can%26#39;t miss them!
Good luck!
I wanted to make sure they still had an Il Panino%26#39;s Restaurant around the corner from the Wyndham and they do, it%26#39;s still there! It%26#39;s JUST wonderful for lunch or dinner.....
