NBA and French restaurant

Hi!

I will go to Boston on Friday to see the basketball game Celtics against Spurs. It will be my first time in Boston.

I will arrive by the greyhound bus at this adress:

SOUTH STATION TRANS CTR

700 ATLANTIC AVE

Boston, MA 02110

I want to know if it%26#39;s easy to take the subway from here and after, if it%26#39;s easy to find the TD BankNorth Garden.

I also want to know if you know a french restaurant in Boston which is not too expensive but where I can eat good french food.

Thank you.

It%26#39;s pretty easy to get from South Station to the Garden. You%26#39;ll need to walk from the bus terminal outside across the commuter rail platform to the train terminal, go downstairs and take the Red ';T'; Line to Downtown Crossing, then take the Orange Line to North Station. Just walk out of the station to Causeway Street and you%26#39;ll see the Garden across the street. Should take around 20 minutes, maybe a little more depending on how quickly the T arrives.

Can%26#39;t help with the French restaurant, sorry!

Hello Laetitia2382,

If you go to the website:

www.explorenewengland.com

When you click on Restaurants they%26#39;re broken up even more, so you can very easily find all of Boston%26#39;s french restaurants at a glance with really good reviews and descriptions so you can make your decision where you might like to have dinner while in Boston.

I just went to one at the Langham Hotel near South Station last night! It was called Julien%26#39;s restaurant. If you go in to the website www.bostonchefs.com and then look up by restaurant? Look for Julien and you%26#39;ll see the menu descriptions down to every detail! It was GREAT there and what an unbelievable atmosphere!

There%26#39;s really good listings of all the french restaurants in Boston on this ExploreNewEngland website that might be a little more reasonably priced than this Julien%26#39;s though, it%26#39;s not a restaurant that you%26#39;d go to all the time! You can also do quick reviews and research right on this Trip Advisor website just as well as these others listed here. It%26#39;ll at least get you an idea of where you might want to have dinner while you%26#39;re in Boston!

Best of luck with the Celtics game you go to and also have fun visiting Boston!

South Station is walking distance to Garden and North Station 20 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi for about $7

#9 Park is a good restaurant also.

The Garden is next to North End which is all Italian. No high end restaurants around the Garden

If you plan on staying over night,The Parker House has some great rates and is also walking distance to the Garden. www.omniparkerhouse.com

Thanks for all those informations.

I%26#39;m very happy to see that it%26#39;s not difficult to go to the TD banknorth garden.

For the restaurant and the hotel,I will check everything and make my choice.
