Favorite scenic drive in Massachusetts?

I love driving down Route 6A (travelguideofamerica.com/scenicdrives/route6…) in the fall, and also love Route 127 on the North Shore. Any others that people like?

Route 6A and rotue 127 are both beautiful drives.

Another great day trip is route 2 west, especially out west of I-91, all the way to Williamstown. From there you can cross the Berkshires into New York and have lunch in or near the Empire State Plaza in Albany - fabulous views from the observation deck of one of the towers in the plaza. The autumn carpet of the mountains is truly spectacular.

In another post you inquired about vacation spot in Maine on a lake... check out Rangeley. It%26#39;s a small town, with lots of interesting things nearby.

Good morning hiddenboston,

Driving down from the Seacoast in to MA., we just love to drive the old Rte 1 instead of the highway especially during the foliage season, it%26#39;s really pretty. We drive all the way in to Topsfield that way then pick up the highway from there. We take our time (what%26#39;s the rush!)because we have to stop at ';Connors Farm'; in Danvers on Rte 35 which is a tradition or it%26#39;s NOT the Fall!

the Mohawk trail is always nice...
