Millenium Hotel

There seems to be a chasm of opinion on this hotel. People either love it or don%26#39;t like it at all. Since I%26#39;m going to be staying there next month, I%26#39;m beginning to wonder if I%26#39;ve missed something. I understand people have bad experiences but considering the price, those experiences shouldn%26#39;t be that awful, that often. Any thoughts about why this is happening or recent first hand experience about this hotel? Thanks for your help

Millenium Hotel

Hello Taletimes,

The Millenium Bostonian Hotel to me is in a perfect location and it%26#39;s extremely convenient within walking distance to so many sights and things to do! I never stayed there, but I know people that have and they just loved it. In fact it%26#39;s really funny but as soon as it opened I even know people that stayed there just to try it out because it was so pretty and new at the time

and they were right from one of the neighborhoods of Boston!

Did you check the TA site here for the reviews? I read a lot of them and the majority of them seemed positive. The average price on the TA site is saying it%26#39;s 237 a night for this hotel. It looks like people on the reviews that used Priceline averaged between 167 and 225 a night. One review showed 350 a night, I was surprise to see that amount! It shows you how you have to do your homework with alot of these Hotels! It probably depends alot on there busy season in the City.

As far as some people complaining about there rooms on the review? For the type of money they paid a night and if the staff working there didn%26#39;t change the linens and towels in the room? I would insist and I mean insist that they do up the room every day and I%26#39;m not kidding. If it wasn%26#39;t? They would hear me from Boston to China down at that front desk blasting them all out, because I wouldn%26#39;t put up with it for a minute.

I%26#39;m NOT paying that kind of money a night for a room and not have clean towels there!

One hotel my friends and I stayed at? It was so funny with the staff they knew we meant business with towels, they were knocking on our door every day to make sure there were enough towels by the time we got through with that front desk! There%26#39;s absolutely no need of it dealing with guests, the

way they do day in and day out. I%26#39;m pretty sure this was

basically what the complaint was on some of these different reviews of the Millenium Hotel.

The Millenium is a beautiful hotel near the Quincy Market

and it%26#39;s got a great great reputation. You%26#39;re going to really enjoy your stay there. If you have any type of problem with towels or linens? Remember what I said, just go right down to that Front Desk and I%26#39;m telling you right now, they%26#39;ll only have to see you once to know you mean business! They%26#39;re dealing with guests and know they have to please those guests that are staying there or they know they go down a few notches in the publics mind and the ones running that Hotel won%26#39;t like that one iota!

May be some one will see your post questioning this Hotel that actually stayed there and you can get another opinion from that perspective. When it comes right down to it? You%26#39;re going to have a great time and you%26#39;re going to love that hotel I bet, give us a holler if you don%26#39;t!

Enjoy your time in Boston!

Millenium Hotel

i picked this hotel despite the sweet and sour reviews because of its location...we had a quick trip to boston on our last visit in june and our fav thing to do is eat at quincy market and the north end. found i got a better price by calling the hotel directly..can%26#39;t recall the exact rate but it was between 149-169...we got there on a thursday and we were given a suite for 2 nites overlooking the city.....great at nite and not too noisy w/ the doors closed...the sound on the tv was broken and it was fixed w/in minutes..since i was given an upgrade and great service of course i would suggest this hotel......if i was given a room w/ less than perfect cleanliness or location..believe me, we would insist on a change or demand our money back.....biggest plus is the quick and easy access to the airport!!!

Thanks for your help. I used to visit Boston a few times a year but I haven%26#39;t been there in about ten years so I%26#39;m excited about visiting my favorite city.

HI

The hotel is ok but noisey as its next to the haymarket set up with huge crowds every Friday and Saturday with all kinds of garbarge having to be cleaned up with trucks making noise all hours of the early morning.

Recomend staying over by Beacon Hill and walking down along the Freedom Trail

2 Hotels there are XV Beacon and Omni Parker House for a genuine Boston experience and much more comfort and charm.
