Thanksgiving on a farm?

Does anyone know where a couple can go for a thanksgiving dinner on a farm or turkey farm in New England (we live in Boston)?

You might want to try Old Sturbridge Village. I had a Thanksgiving dinner there years ago... though as I recall, we had it the day before or the day after because it was sold out well in advance.

I don%26#39;t know of any in MASS. In New Hampshire there%26#39;s the Christmas Farm Inn in the White Mountains.

In Maine I%26#39;ve been to the ';Clay Hill Farm'; for dinner in York and there%26#39;s one in Ogunquit. It%26#39;s incredible. It rests on 30 acrs of colorful gardens. It%26#39;s one of the most reliable and finest restaurants on the Seacoast. My whole family loves it there! It won the ';Derona award'; which is like winning an Oscar. May be you should see if you can get reservations there?

I%26#39;ve been to The White Barn Inn in Kennebunkport for dinner before, that%26#39;s exquisite too! It%26#39;s an elegant 3 story Country Inn.

If you go to www.visitingnewengland.com it might help you to decide where you want to go for dinner.

In the White Mountains there%26#39;s the Christmas Farm Inn with Spa facilities.

Nestlenook Farm is another place that you could check out to see what they have for Thanksgiving.

If you are considering a Thanksgiving getaway for a couple days or whatever, maybe Farm By The River in North Conway would be nice. Check out www.farmbytheriver.com. Oh, wait, they only appear to serve breakfast for their guests. No mention of lunch or dinner. Very nice looking place, though. I%26#39;ve taken my wife horseback riding there several times.

I just thought of another place that you should Google through to see if there%26#39;s farms for dinner---check out the state of Connecticut on this forum for ideas and suggestions....

Hart%26#39;s Turkey Farm is an institution in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire... Located on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Hart%26#39;s Turkey Farm had an absolutely LOUSY breakfast buffet during biker week this past June. Plus, it%26#39;s not exactly a farm, but a touristy restaurant, with a stupid little gift shop that you have to walk thru to get to the back dining room.....

The Gibbet Hill Grill in Groton, MA is located in a restored barn on a working dairy farm. The restaurant is surrounded by hundreds of acres of conservation land. They offer Thanksgiving dinner. Check it out at:

Jacob Hill Farm Bed and Breakfast in Seekonk, MA about an hour south from Boston has a Thanksgiving package that includes a Thanksgiving diner.

Check them out on TA they are one of the top 3 Bed and Breakfasts in Massachusetts I believe you can get to them from this page.

It is actually on a country Estate with upscale rooms that have Big Jacuzzi tubs, king beds and fireplaces they are geared more to a romantic getaway for couples you will not be roughing it but you will be in the country.

The bonus is they are right outside of Providence, RI so you can make a weekend out of it maybe do some Christmas Shopping
