Hampton Inns

Has anyone had experiences with Hampton Inns? did you like the hotel? Was it any better that Courtyard or Holiday Inn?

Planning a road trip and looking at options.

Appreciate your help!

Hampton Inns

Most Hampton Inns are good places to stay, especially if they were built specifically as Hampton Inns. My mom stayed at the Hampton Inn in Woburn (north of Boston) and didn%26#39;t care much for the hotel. I believe it was a Comfort Inn and the Woburn Inn before that. She said that the walls were very thin and that she could could hear the traffic from the highway and also the person next door. On the other hand, there is a Hampton Inn in York, where my family lives, that I have heard many positive things about and think that any Hampton Inn that was built as a Hampton Inn would be a good choice.

Holiday Inns can really be a mixed bag. I think that a Holiday Inn Express would be a better choice than a regular Holiday Inn, as they have a free continental breakfast with delicious cinnamon rolls each morning. There is a Holiday Inn Express in Braintree that we have stayed at and would highly recommend it to others. I have never stayed at a Courtyard by Marriott, so I can%26#39;t comment on that kind of hotel.

We dont stay at 2 star hotels anymore

With the deals at upscale hotels like Omni Hotels you get much better value and service for your money. Life is too short to stay in a hotel that has cheap furniture, low end linens that are so thin you can see through them.

Check out Omni Hotels and Fairmont Hotels they are the best value without paying as much as a FourSeasons.

These hotels like Hamptons and Courtyards are popping up everywhere as they are just cookie cutter hotels going up with francise money for the chain as the reward to the company.

Most of the courtyards are converted Holiday Inns that become popular just because they Have the marriott name on the building.

Enjoy your stay and treat yourself better

Your deserve it!

Hampton Inns are always clean, and comfortable. When traveling we look to stay at the Hampton Inns first. I have stayed in them all over from Texas to Vermont. They are owned by Hilton, and are always a safe bet for a nice room with a free breakfast, internet connection and most have pools. They also have excellent staff training for customer service and it shows. I can%26#39;t remember a time when I ran into an inatentive staff memeber. Cleanliness is the most important factor for me, and I%26#39;ve never been disapointed.
