There will be 8 Canadians visiting Boston over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend (October 8-10). We are looking for a restaurant in Boston that can serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal for 8 paying customers on Sunday October 9th. Items like turkey and the fixings%26#39;, yams/potatoes, home baked pie, etc. would be fantastic. We are not looking for anything fancy; a small family restaurant would be more appreciated. We are staying DT but are willing to travel a ';little bit'; out of the city for a good meal. Can anyone help? Offer a suggestion?

Hi,
Durgin Park restaurant in Quincy Market makes a fantastic Roast Turkey dinner with all the fixings. It%26#39;s real roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, gravy and cranberry sauce. Their desserts are great, too. It%26#39;s a part of their regular menu, so there should be no problem getting it when you are here.

Hello Toronto28,
I agree with BeantownMan you can%26#39;t beat Durgin Park in Boston with a stick. If you want to just stay in Boston and you don%26#39;t want to travel? Have dinner there, it%26#39;s always been wonderful, always very reliable and extremely consistant. It%26#39;s not one of those ';stuffy'; old restaurants at all. The beauty of it is? You can relax and enjoy dinner and the company you%26#39;re with, you%26#39;ll have a better time, and more importantly? No stess! With the way the gas is now? Stay right in Boston!
I was going to suggest Hart%26#39;s Turkey Farm Restaurant B4 the gas crisis! But hey why would you want to drive all the way up to Meredith, NH! Here%26#39;s the site so you can see the place I%26#39;m talking about. (Check out those turkeys gobbling!) I think you%26#39;re better off having dinner at Durgin Park right in Boston. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!
