Throughout 2005 summer, Herring Cove Beach continues to be ';nudity-tolerant'; and ';gay-accepting';. I f you are the parent of a child considering vacationing and visiting this beach, you should be aware that this beach is historically regarded as such. When entering the beach you may want to stay right as much as possible if you do not wish your children to see nudity, as anywhere to the left of the entrance from the parking lots you may encounter nude or partially nude men and women. Additionally, if this is your lifestyle, you will find that this beach offers alot of privacy, as well as an overall atmosphere that nudity is as natural as being clothed.
Advisory re: Nudity at Herring Cove Beach
More power to people that could go nude or even partially-nude.
Geez, if I ever did that, I%26#39;d clear out the beach in no time....
Advisory re: Nudity at Herring Cove Beach
from one minivan mom to another....we probably wouldn%26#39;t look so bad....anyway isn%26#39;t p-town about acceptance? I would hope that is about everything and not just sexual preference. Maybe that is the one place we could go nude and feel okay about it....
Thanks for the update on the beach, though....while as a mom I might want to stay clear of the nude beach...too many questions to answer to a 4 and 5 year old......
If ever I was so bold, Greenpeace would probably try to ';save'; me by pushing me back out to sea...
Ah yes. The beached whale theory...know it well. If I could trade my keg shape for the more attractive six-pack contour, I%26#39;d be there.
Oh yes, a full body shave, a little liposuction and muscles on the tops of my feet - I%26#39;d knock %26#39;em all dead. I can%26#39;t stand it when my derriere sags so much that it leaves a gouge in the sand.

';...please move along and stay close - here you%26#39;ll see a fully grown Mediterranean male washed ashore, kept afloat over long distances by the ballast in his lower abdomen, warmed by the layers of fur, that have evolved into hair in later periods. We here at WHOI are fortunate to have such a pristine specimen, a unlikely gift from our southern European friends.....';

I%26#39;m making the call to the Barnstable Health Dept. to have myself removed at just at the thought of this.
